Built by a family business with decades of experience
Calico Cottage is a family-owned British manufacturing company based in Cambridgeshire.
The original Calico business began in Long Island, New York in 1964. In 1989, Nigel Baker brought the programme to the UK, initially importing ingredients before quickly moving into British manufacturing.
More than three decades later, Calico Cottage manufactures its fudge mixes and fudge-making machinery in Cambridgeshire and supports retailers, attractions and businesses across the UK and Europe.
Today, two generations of the Baker family work in the business, alongside a local team of around 40 people. We are proud to have grown from a family-led opportunity into an established British manufacturing success story.
